In September 1995, West True Dragon Transportation (Guangzhou) Ltd. (WTD), registered as an international (Grade-1) freight forwarder in the Ministry of Commerce of PRC with the registered capital of fifteen million HKD. In December of the same year, WTD was approved by the Custom General Administration of PRC as a licensed Custom brokerage agency. WTD set up Guangzhou Bonded District West True Dragon Logistic Ltd., in year 2000. By the year 2004, it owns 14000 m2 bonded warehouse and 2000 m2 Custom bonded warehouse both are well equipped. In year 2002, WTD established its own trucking department. With five million RMB registered capital and more than 30 bonded trucks, this department became ‘Guangzhou General Province Transportation Ltd.,’ on May 2004.

WTD employs more than 320 people, most of them has different kinds of qualifications. WTD’s import & export air cargo volume has been ranked top three in Guangzhou for many years, and our chartered pallet volume to the Americas is the biggest in Guangzhou industry. Charter freighter business was started in September 2004. There is one or two charter freighters flight from Shenzhen to Chicago every month. The Superlink China Direct service was opened in 2002, it connects Hong Kong Airport to Guangzhou with direct transfer trucks. WTD has been in the first place among China Southern Airline’s Guangzhou international freight forwarders for four years from 2001 to 2004. WTD obtained ISO9001 quality control certification in 2002, became a member of IATA and the earliest group of members of China Custom Declaration Association.

By the end of 2004, WTD has many subsidiaries around China such as Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, HongKong, Jiangmen. WTD has many agencies around the world. Through 10 years development, WTD’s total assets and net assets exceed 30 million RMB and 15 million RMB respectively. By now WTD grows into a large integrated international freight forwarder with air cargo as its core business and other business such as bonded warehousing, bonded trucking, trucking, Custom declaration and inspection. Under the mission of becoming the leader in China airfreight industry, WTD will continuously explore its way and establish milestones along the way.
