Shipping Valuable Super Sports Cars

On October 9, 2002, WTD was appointed to ship two super sports cars—Benz-CLK-GTR and Pagani Zonda C12S from Hong Kong to Guangzhou. GTR is worth 15 million HKD and Pagani is worth 4.38 million HKD.

First Ship the Underground Train by Air

WTD worked with Panapilna shipped the underground train from Europe to Guangzhou by air through three flights from November 28 to December 10, 2002. WTD became the forerunner of letting underground train to take airplanes. It is an unparalleled feat that shook the entire airfreight industry; therefore WTD’s name aroused general concern.

Scheduled Bonded Truck Service

Scheduled Bonded Truck Service is the fourth article of Guangzhou Custom’s Twelve Service Article of improving Guangzhou New International Airport’s operation efficiency. With Customs approved Scheduled Bonded Truck Service, airlines can extend its flights to the goods’ final destination. Therefore, inland cities without airport can also receive and deliver international air cargo directly. Custom’s ‘Declare once, Inspect once and release once’ service enable import & export goods arrive at the destination faster, cheaper and more punctual.

GP signed the ‘Scheduled Bonded Truck Service Cooperation Memorandum’ with Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Custom and Guangzhou Bonded District Custom on June 4, 2004, and became the first transportation company obtained the Custom approval for this service. GP launched the first Scheduled Bonded Truck Service from Guangzhou Baiyun Airport to Guangzhou Bonded District on June 21, 2004, and the second one from Guangzhou to Jiangmen on February 3, 2005.

Charter Freighter

WTD’s first charter freighter- China Southern Airline’s B747-400 freighter took off from Shenzhen to Chicago on September 28, 2005. This charter freighter opened a new page of WTD’s history. By the end of February 2005, WTD has chartered 7 freighters from Shenzhen, with cargo weight over 100 tons each.
